Insurance Outfitters® has been around since 1989, serving the individuals and businesses from Shepherdstown, West Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley. We are an independent insurance practice, specializing in Home Insurance, Auto Insurance and Business Insurance products.
Our founder, Tom Maiden, is a Commander in the Navy Reserve, an Iraq war veteran and a trusted and proven Certified Finanical Planner™ practitioner and Chartered Life Underwriter,®specializing in risk management & insurance planning. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from West Virginia University and over 32 years of industry experience.
Co-owner and CEO, Michele Ours Maiden, joined the family business after serving 23 years in management with Pfizer, one of the world’s premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Maryland.
